The Power of Mobility – Why It Matters
“We do not stop exercising because we grow old – we grow old because we stop exercising.” – Dr. Kenneth Cooper
Mobility is the cornerstone of a healthy and resilient body.
As a mobility coach, I see firsthand how improving range of motion can transform peoples lives.
It does not matter who you are, what you do or where you come from, if you are a human being, mobility work is essential.
One of my favorite hip openers is the 90/90 Hip Switch, which promotes hip flexibility and strength (especially if you are the 76% of people who sit all day at work).
Pair this with simple shoulder CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations) to support your shoulder joint health and promote movement in your upper traps / neck.
Finish with standing torso twists to articulate through the spine and reduce stiffness and tension around your torso and lower back.
The beauty of mobility work is that it's not just about physical exercise—it’s about creating freedom in functional movements, reducing pain, and enhancing the way you live day to day.
